the creator of habilements
After retiring from a career as a graphic designer, the compulsion to create continued. I studied silver-smithing & jewelry design and then began designing and constructing unique garments. With the encouragement of friends and family I began looking for ways to market my designs.
habilements includes a line of handcrafted clothing that is meticulously designed and created with care to bring a sense of individuality and style to anyone’s wardrobe. habilements also includes a line of architectural and avant-garde jewelry that also helps you express your individuality, style, and to compliment your look.
I chose "habilements" (from middle french for "fine attire and accouterments") as the name of my clothing line because I feel it embodies more than just the clothes you wear. I want to encourage women to find their own unique style. Their own brand of chic.
